Reporting to the Enterprise Board & Director of Operations, the Gaming Commission members are responsible for operating the business in a successful manner. Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly operations.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be 21 years of age;
- Must have a minimum of grade 12 education;
- Serving – 2 Year term
- Three Gaming Commission Board Members;
- Must understand current gaming policies;
- Review license applications and make licensing recommendations to the board members;
- Develop and apply standards for the inspection and audit of licensed gaming events;
- Provide information on Board policy and procedures to the public.
- Ensure all advertising is on the level with Manitoba liquor and Lotteries requirements.
- Attend SLFN Enterprise meetings regularly.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Access to reliable transportation to and from work as travel is required.
- Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Persons check and Child Abuse Registry check.
- Must be willing to submit to random drug testing.
